This is a WebSDR receiver, located in Venaria Reale, Torino, Italy. (locator JN35TD).
A new RTL R820T2 dongle with TXCO (ID 0bda:2838 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL2838 DVB-T) freshly frequency calibrated, (it's the NooElec nesdr Smart)
Hardware is a PC Engines APU CPU AMD G-T40E Processor @1GHz dual core, with 4GB of RAM and 16GB SSD HD, running debian linux 64bit.
Internet connectivity is a 6mb/6mb symmetric hiperlan link. I still need to calibrate the signal, so far I haven't managed to achieve a perfect result. If I get close to real signal level indication I loose small signals. If I increment the gain to get get the smal signals, the S-meter becomes uncalibrated and electronic noise appears on the spectrum. However, this set up is what I would describe most useful.
